The EPC warning light came on for no apparent reason although I didn't get limp mode or any obvious change in the way the car drove. I finished my journey without any problem and when I re-started the car the light had gone. I've since done a 45 mile motorway run, everything seems completely normal and the light has stayed off.

Car went into limp mode, so I pulled in to check if I had a puncture or something fallen off and broken a sensor. Nothing amiss, but then the car won't restart.
