Mastik vedel by si trošku
Oil leak on top of engine bay (Skyactiv 2.5) Garage: 2014 Mazda 6 Grand Touring (6AT) & 2018 Mazda 3 Grand Touring (6MT) California. Save Share. Reply Quote Like. R.
2012 Mazda3 Skyactiv 2.0L vin 7, bought brand new December 2012. Started running a little rough around 75k miles and dropping mileage. Changed plugs to NGK Iridiums around 80k miles. Mechanic told me that one plug was so shot, it was barely even sparking. Engine seemed to even out for a bit, then started running rough again.Mazda is jerking us around until the warranty expires. This car will be nearly worthless when I pay it off because if it burns oil that bad brand new, it's going to require weekly oil changes by then. Ive been a Mazda guy for decades. This is may last.
Anyway the extra information I wanted to add is that on picking up the car a different service guy said that it is a different/new part that has been fitted and that Mazda have extended the warranty on the original part to 10 years/200000km.
A whopping two miles per gallon better than a hugely spacious and cushy Honda Odyssey -- 24 mpg in mixed driving. But when equipped with the same engine and transmission as the Mazda5, the 2013
However, that was in early 2022, and during the launch event three months ago, they focused on the e-Skyactiv PHEV which uses the 2.5-liter as its base or the new inline-6 diesel. The Sky-X inline-6 could still be on its way, but with the 3.3-liter turbo in the CX-90 already producing 280 hp and being offered from $40,000, you have to wonder if
For SKYACTIV-D 1.5 and SKYACTIV-D 2.2, reset the engine oil data whenever replacing the engine oil regardless of the message/wrench indicator light display. Use of FL-22 is recommended when replacing engine coolant. Using engine coolant other than FL-22 may cause serious damage to the engine and cooling system.
Then again, I've said this from Day One. Buy a Toyota if you want great long-term resale. Buy a Mazda if you want great long-term driving enjoyment. But to answer your original question, there hasn't been any major issues/malfunctions that are known with the 2.5L Turbo, neither with the CX-9 or the 6.
The Mazda dealer that I bought/service the car from sells about 50-60 CX5's a month (pre-COVID while they still had cars to sell) and I am the first CX5 (first 2.5L N/A SKYACTIV G for that matter) with an oil leak at the dealership. Based on this rudimentary analysis, I would say it's not a widespread issue across the 2.5L N/A motors w/ CD.
avi1777. In 2021, all Mazdas (excluding the CX-3 and CX-9) will have two powertrain options. The oil requirements are different for each. The 2.5 non-turbo takes 0w20 (synthetic), the 2.5 Turbo takes 5w30 (non-synthetic). The dealer will use the appropriate Mazda Premium (Idemitsu) oil, unless otherwise requested.
